They are the kinds of women I like to imagine I am, or at least would be if I had the courage. The protagonist usually has a difficult past or family life and is up against the world in some way. My stories are fairly graphic and erotic, but I also include a good story, strong character development, and a genuinely full and engaging reading experience. The sexual themes I write about all come from my own, private fantasies. They are the kinds of things I imagine happening to me, even though I know they are unlikely in real life. They're not realistic in the sense that they reflect life, but they are absolutely honest in the sense that they reflect my own deeply held thoughts and desires.

Being a huge Sons of Anarchy fan, when I read the blurb on this book, being about an MC, it was a no brainer really, I had to read it. Oddly enough I haven’t read a book about a bikers before even though I grew up with a Dad who has rode all his life and still rides now even in his 70’s!
Now the DFMC is absolutely nothing like the romantic notions I have about these gangs. There is no loyalty amongst them, they stick together through fear and fear alone and not because they consider each other as brothers, who they will defend to the death. The way they treat women, as worthless possessions to be used and abused is frightening and this powerfully written book shows us just how darkthis world is for one such female.
The daughter of the president of a rival club, Rose, was ‘taken’ and forced to work in a bar in the middle of nowhere just as a means to revenge, even though her father is now dead. For the last two years her life has been filled with violence and she is left with no hope.
Tainted Rose includes some very graphic rape scenes and is not a book for the feint of heart. It is written in a way that gives the reader lots of description and inner thoughts rather than being dialogue driven, but I found it extremely easy to connect with both her and Josh who makes an appearance in the latter part of the book.
Both their stories are told separately and lead up to the point where they are connected. I felt the book ended too soon just when they meet it’s practically over leaving me wanting to know what happens with them next!
This is a series I will continue for sure, though it’s dark it drew me in completely and I couldn’t stop reading until I got to the end.

I didn't finish this. I couldn't stomach what was done to the heroine. I'd like to wipe those things and images out of my mind because I feel bad every time I think of her and this book
I've read of other heroines with horrible pasts and stories but maybe the lack of overly detailed facts helped me to keep reading.

ANOTHER AMAZING BOOK BY ABBY WEEKS

I have been a fan of Abby's books since I discovered her a few months ago. Out of all her series this new one is my favorite. Yes it is a bit brutal but it is so bang on with how biker gangs function. It's the brutal truth on everything sex, drugs and murder. I liked that this still had sexual content although a bit rough it is a close example of how these bikers disregard women. The pain and heartache that Rose faces is so deep you feel like your heart is being ripped out as she faces and endures the torture and feeling of helplessness.
Just when you think Rose is going to live a life of rape torture and misery in rides Josh Carter...hubba bubba. The chemistry between these two is amazing. I cannot wait to read and find out what happens to them as they try to pick up the pieces.
